The Newcastle Youth Radio Association (a not for profit
Association) was established in 1999 to secure a community
radio broadcasting license. This proved unsuccessful and
the group moved onto other radio related projects
including the formation of Isonliveradio radio syndication
and ZFM online radio. In recent years we have been
managing, consulting on and providing content to a large
network of regional FM stations in exchange for air time.
As we have moved operations further afield than Newcastle
(whilst we all still live right here!), we operate our actual
studio’s from a more central location in Bondi which we
share with another organization to save costs.
